Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Stone Mountain, GA

Checked in after a long and cold day at Stone Mountain. Within walking distance of food and entertainment. But I just needed a place to sleep. Very comfy bed and it was reasonably quiet. Strong, free coffee in the lobby and a nice big jug of lemon-infused ice water. Nice touch. Service was efficient, if not a tad impersonal.

Honestly, can't find a single flaw with this place. All staff were courteous, rooms were clean and spacious, beds reasonably comfortable, largely quiet (though the doors are exceptionally heavy and close loudly no matter how hard you try to do carefully), shower pressure adequate. Included breakfast won't blow your socks off, but it was always on time and adequate considering the price point. The only complaint, and this is nothing the staff or proprietors can do about it, is that it's a bit difficult to get in and out of during certain parts of the day. That's why you see my "location" rating at 4 stars out of 5. As it pertains to value: It's bit more expensive compared to some other "budget" hotels in the area, but given what I heard from people working the same festival I did, it's WELL worth it. Will definitely stay here again for my event.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful experience at the Country Inn & Suites. After traveling over 10 hours from Florida, we were extremely grateful to be allowed an early check‑in. Being able to drop off our bags and settle in right away made a huge difference. At the front desk, both the lady and the young gentleman were exceptionally polite and helpful. She explained the breakfast schedule, offered us complimentary cookies, and made it clear that if we weren’t satisfied with our room, she would gladly accommodate us in another one. That level of hospitality truly stood out. We stayed in room 126 and loved it from the moment we opened the door. Everything was spotless, organized, and smelled amazing. The bathroom was immaculate and fully stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The room also included a microwave, a small fridge, and a desk with a comfortable chair—perfect for a small workspace. Parking is included in the room rate, which is a great bonus. The location is also excellent, with plenty of restaurants, a Walmart, gas stations, and many other businesses just minutes away. Plus, it’s less than a 15‑minute drive to Stone Mountain. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta or looking for a convenient stay near Stone Mountain. We truly enjoyed our experience.

The staff was great, we even left something after checkout and they called my cell to let us know and offered options to get it back to us in another state! Just a little freaky in the elevator though, 3 floors and if you stop on #2 it would bounce and pop 2-3 times before it would settle. Everything was clean, the continental breakfast was good with lots of hot teas and other options. And super nice staff, well stay here again when I'm back in the area.

Great service came her with my family definitely recommend staying here! Everything is near by, everything is super clean, the breakfast is Also very nice, staff friendly! We also tried out the pool and it’s nice and warm we came during the winter and the pool was definitely a nice place to warm up! Thank you Country Inn for welcoming us with warm hospitality! Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Hotel hallways were quiet (you never know what you're going to get when you are on the same floor as the pool). Breakfast was nice except for unattended children making a mess at the waffle station and just rudely butting in front of people.

The biggest thing to highlight is the service. We was checked in by Edwina she did an amazing job the whole time we see her around. She will always ask is there anything I can help you? and she carries a nice smile and a really good energy to this hotel. I will come back here because of the experience she gave us!!! thumbs up for Edwina!!!

I write reviews when I've had really good experiences and when I've had really bad experiences. I had a really good experience at the Country Inn & Suites. The front desk service was friendly. The rooms were nice. The breakfast was 10/10. No complaints. The housekeeping staff was so pleasant. I was at the Country Inn attending a funeral and I was glad when my head hit the pillow, I could emotionally and physically recharge. I would go there again!
